Remember them

Helping shape the brand experience and initial app design—Chptr, aimed to create a place where communities come together to celebrate lost loved ones. Collect, share, and discover memories between the people who knew them, so the world may remember them. I partnered with the founder and a small internal team to help shape the creation of digital memorials within a community.

Interface is secondary to content, and light or dark mode friendly. UI details give the digital hand-rendered and kept in like with the brand typeface, Recoleta. Yellow is used as a call-to-action and signal to interact.

Rounded interface corners and edges keep it friendly, while imagery focuses on DIY, selfie style video recordings over ultra-stylized art direction.
